We get 30 minutes out 6 days a week, phone stopped working months ago. There's not one window in Max building where new girls go. Cells are not cleaned between prisoners . Vents are so full of dust and grime everything is Rusted and gross. We do not get any cleaning supplies. We get an old scrap of blanket once a week wet with disinfectant. We can(can’t?) sanitize phones ice machine, tables chairs showers, kiosks- nothing. We don't get masks anymore. We get nothing new. clothes and bedding is so nasty, canteen is out of stock- no deodorant for over 2 months. They are keeping girls in Seg for too long, no programs, no activities nothing. WCI is not safe for anyone, staff nor inmates. There is drugs coming in here like a Walmart sells. We hardly get any rec or showers. Staff do nothing to help. You smell drugs being smoked and hear people selling. I'm here to help myself better myself. It is very dirty here like no other. We live in filth. Our food portions are decreased by a lot and we go hungry. They get away with so much stuff here. Like not feeding us, giving us record showers like they're supposed to be. doing.I've been here a month now. There has been three stabbings two in the showers and one in the hall. Staff are. attacked I fear I'm not safe here. And i’m not cared about in that way of being safe. WCI needs to be investigated. There is a wag wag to much corruptness through most of the staff here. I believe something must be done. or else people will continue all this. I want to make it out of here alive and I fear I may not. I know this kid here. He got beat up in the showers cuz he looked weak. That happened because the guy owed money and didn't want to pay so he beat up that kid. that kid He didn't deserve that at all. I fear the worst . I'm writing this letter to you in regards to me getting injured while here at New Lisbon Correctional Institution. I was hurt back in August 28th 20th 2024. I was coming down the stairs and when I got to the bottom went to the step into the concrete floor and I slipped and hurt myself due to condensation because of the heat was making the floors wet and there were no signs up informing that the floors were wet. I have filed complaints and I am in the middle of the complaint process and exhausting my remedies. I have been in constant pain due to my injuries and medical here is very poor. I have only had an MRI done since August 2024. I had that in October I am supposed to consult in March to discuss my injuring, what steps are going to be taken. As you can see from the report another MRI is requested and it's going to be even longer before I can get the proper surgery done. I'm seeking any type of advice to help that you might/ could provide to hold DOC accountable for negligence and not getting the proper treatment should I should be given. I filed notice of claim to the Attorney General on December 11th 2024. If you could please help me in this matter I would gladly appreciate. thank you for your prompt attention to this matter

He was prescribed no stairs, bottom bunk , cane , walker,staff by doctor/denied by special needs committee/fell down stairs on 42825/ hospital xrays showed back and hip damage. When he returned to CCI he could not get out of bad to get his food and staff counted that as refusal. He is still waiting for medical mattress, wheel chair and low bunk.

I've been having all type of medical issues going on and they failed to apply with their work role for and it's a headache and something needs to be done about the situation. I've been shot five times and been asking for the Right medical treatment and I'm being ignored but this is my story here at Waupun. I'm in segregation for being in an unassigned area which I accept my punishment and all but they also planted drugs on me and making me pay the punishment and I don't do drugs they lie on us and we don't do nothing cuz they don't send out our mail. we in here going through hard times they don't respect us at all and we write the problem up and they still deny us and it's just crazy no support here. they take our only property we have and break it or give it to someone else like I don't got no property that's why I'm not getting out of the whole cuz all my property is gone No clothes no hygiene or shoes or Electronics. it. that's why I'm not leaving sick cuz it's no point.

I also want you to know that I am not receiving any proper medical treatment from me being shot prior back a couple years. I've been asking to be seen that Kate saying you're on the list and I will never be seen. I'm in severe pain left just got a bullet wound from my incident and I got bad nerve damage and it's hard to utilize my feet and hand without a brace or ace bandage or pain pills. Well I hate to say last week 124-25 I caught another assault on an employee. I know I was wrong but it's gbci lack of awareness to people's internal. I told PSU I was on the verge of exploding when my grandpa passed and they didn't care. this last year this was his anniversary and I lost it. but where I need help is expressing two hair or beer of a classification movement that me being in gbci after 14 years is not safe for me or the safety of Staff here and that a transfer is needed I had staff tell me they about to lock me in seg for my last 7 years on administrative confinement my mental health is bad already I believe that will kill me I just received ? I haven't had my AC hearing yet and had staff tell me it's a 75% chance of me if he putting me on AC when my time is done which is due process violation because he has a predetermined violate because he has predetermined outcome with no hearing or evidence in front of him which makes whatever I present irrelevant I need someone to really advocate for me on my behalf for me to be transferred to another Max to get me a fresh start and a proper AC hearing.If I don't have no one calling to address this to them they can easily sweep me under the rug. I'm not claiming to be perfect and just want to be treated fairly and have fresh staff and another Max I've been in gbi 14 years already can I get your help please .

I just got sent to gbci from WCI last year and since I've been in gbci I've been getting not only mistreated but sexually harassed, humiliated and sexually assaulted. On body cam the other day by a captain named j a y V a n l a n e n. It happened on 2-6-25 at approximately 208 to 3:00 p.m. in seg outside seg strip cage. I preserved the body Cam and everything. This madman handcuffed me to a strip cage door and he pulled my pants down in the hallway in front of everybody and it was a lieutenant by the name of King standing there just letting him do it.Then when I was naked he made me get down on my knees. I'm trying to see if you can please help me anyway to not only get gbci investigated but I'm also trying to learn the law myself. I don't know too much about litigation but it's a brother here who gave me your information and say you got some books that you sent him and I was trying to see if you can help me same way becausenot going to lie to you, I really don't feel safe anymore here at cbci. I'm petrified, afraid and fear for my life. shouldn't know man nor woman ever should have to go through what I just went through then by someone who's supposed to help and protect us. don't make things no better. I feel like my manhood has been taken away from me and I don't feel right having to explain some like this to my family, kids nor loved ones. they was so unprofessional and they really should be in jail behind what they did and how they did me. even if you can just help me with any of these books so I can try to learn the law and both get home and start my lawsuit. thank you and if you can't I still thank you.

I'm currently an inmate at WCI. I am serving three and three out for possession of meth and FTR as a result of my addiction and misunderstanding. I thought I was a rapist until someone I was jailed with was talking about giving someone a hickey. not relavant.
I attempt with suicide in the Portage County Jail in 22. I was taken to the hospital after I was revived. I waited until right after walkthru. all that. I did it right. I'm told I can sue. not relevant.
That being said, I have serious mental health issues and have had them since I was a child. I am under a chapter 51 out of Vilas County from 07 that was never followed up. I have court ordered ADOA and mental health needs I desire and is the reason I was put in prison for so long to have addressed. That was the reasoning of all the judges and the AG. DOC has never offered me AODA in the 10 years I have been incarcerated..I was always under the influence and every single one of my crimes in and out since 07.
I was sent to RCI which is literally the most known for drugs and then to WCI. WCI is second. This is no secret. All of my CRs are use of intoxicants. Prison, the, hole and any type of punishment is not a deterrent to me. I actually have drugs in the hole.I cannot get away from drugs. I have been begging PSU for a year or so to help but they do minimal visits, like just going through the motions. I have all of this documented. I feel like I'm in a war zone in my mind. Like I'm going to have a psychotic break that will leave a scorched Earth scenario, I don't want to be released like this., I'm 8 months away and malevolent voices( he hears?).

Mentally ill with no treatment- revoked several times and has been begging for treatment for years. He often acted out and spent years in segregation. Finally got together enough to stop “playing the games” and got out of seg. Was in general for short time when he wrote letters to all the DOC powers that there was much drug dealing in the cell near him. There was a bust but the guards told the inmates who “snitched” and Damien became a target- he filed spns and begged to be put in another unit.
Instead of honoring the spns and movement requests, the prison gave him two bogus conduct reports and send him back to seg. FFUP wrote and called HSU and security deriding the conduct reports as I know the whole story. He was then placed on PC without his electronics or much or the property most people are allowed in protective custody . Despite constant self advocacy and some work by FFUP,.they are denying him all treatment or to go to WRC and he gets out in August. He needs lots of money and an injunctive order that he get the treatment he needs upon release if not now.
Exhaustion? Like many inmates in WCI and GBCI, I do not think they get my mail- his letters repeat the same requests and do not refer to any of my letters. He writes HSU and Madison all the time but I do not know if he has filed ICIs. Am trying to make regualr contact with his family.

Like many in our system, he could not understand the rules and protocols and the system has no way of helping him. When FFUP first knew him it was the “face forward“ policy that always got him more time- He trusted noone and when walking with guards, would look sidewise at any provocation; fighting would ensue and then more charges. Terrance was in a war zone-he was either fighting or being drugged to a stupor.He has been caught in the devastating syndrome we call ”in for multiple misdemeanors and still in 30 years later.”
Terrance asks to go to the colorado system where his family lives and where he would get comprehensive mental health treatment.

Cordale’s personal issues I asked my PSU person why WCI won't put any referrals to WRC. She told me her PSU supervisor tells them not to put referrals in. The PSU supervisor tells them to say no. Isn't that against some code or statute to doing mental health treatment? They're offering nothing to me. I told the PSU supervisor I've seen two stabbings in the shower. I was beat with a sock full of soap at GBCI. I was threatened out of my TV. I was ? and.threatened from three cellmates in GBCI. Here at WCI I was threatened into giving my canteen or I'd be?/ stabbed up. I way mental Health is mentally and physically getting worse here. I have no way of informing WRC what WCI is doing in denying me to go back to WRC or help my mental health in any way. Could you please inform WRC of what's going on here with me . I don't have anyone else to ask for me or to tell WRC all this.

INJUNCTION NEEDED. At present he is in Dodge Correctional institution (DCI) in the infirmary because of a mysterious infection that caused him to lose consciousness. He is slowly recovering and the fear is that he will be sent back to WCI to the same intolerable conditions and an injunction is needed to see that he stays at Dodge , goes to WRC or , the best, gets paroled and can go back to his tribe where excellent treatment awaits him.

Will here. I wrote once before and I hope I did not offend you by asking for help. My neighbor Titus was helping me with legal matters and knew my situation. Titus said you may be able to help with stamps/ stamped envelopes.
After doing 6 years I was on my way out the door. However Dodge County placed a Hold on Me 3 days before I got the chance. On a Wednesday I got my “walking papers” and cried tears of joy. Two days later I was served with my hold.Yes tears of loss for sure.

PREA violation, lack of mental health care for trauma , deliberate indifference :slapped hard in the rear by a staff member, this triggered trauma because of repeated sexual assaults in childhood. Matt filed prea and it was dismissed nothing done- he repeatedly asked for counceling, nada. Went off and for three hours beat his head against the wall - fists and hands. Finally taken to the hospital. Doctor was outraged that he was allowed to self harm that long.he is a litigator, helps many- case is not going through the courts.

I was placed in the hole for false allegations of having drugs. Peg, these people that's working here at GBCI are criminally minded. They refuse to send out the drugs to be tested by Brown County police station because they're going to look very stupid when it says prayer oil mixed with body wash. Peg this stuff I use for air freshener and they said it tested positive for cocaine oxy/ methylfentanyl, cocaine/oxy. spice l and spice m. Peg these people are crazy. They saying prayer/ frankincense mixed with body wash is drugs. Peg I don't use drugs or sell drugs. These people are trying their best to make me seem like I'm the problem when it's them. Could you call up here and ask why they're not sending out the drugs to be tested by professionals?. That ”ionscan600” don't work at all. This is the same thing that happened to me at Dodge but only difference is Dodge sent my legal mail out to be tested by the professionals and it came back clean . please help

greetings from Charlie and Oshkosh I hereby give you permission to get all my health information and records that you all will need I am sorry for not keeping in touch like I would……I went to have a MRI done because there was a person put in my room who always had to do things his way and jump down from the top bunk on top of me. When I went to the hospital for MRI, it shows my neck was fractured and other damage was done to the neck. I now have lost more use of my hands and arms. I'm not able to wheel myself around as much anymore as I once did. at this time. While in the hospital for different tests all my personal things were packed but were not put in safe place and always left in the room and inmate by the name of e l e i t s p i l l e r 684165 was moved into my room where this individual took it upon himself and took what he thought he had a right to. He took from me many canteen and hobby items for himself.( lists 18 hobby and canteen items)
I truly could use these items for hobby if you are able. my family will always stay in touch with you with love and respect .

My family is very grateful for you for all you do to go out of your way for their father…. I'm sorry to always have to show so much bad news with what's going on all the time .As you know I'm wearing a neck brace due to a bad fracture in the neck because of the carelessness of the staff for who has been put in the room with me lately. It is said that they are working on a move for a room for me. but all that is just talk. Sorry to say our staff could care less what happens to anyone here, for the truth lies within our words. I still pray for them no matter what happens. I am saddened for all that has Been taken from me, but maybe they were in more need of it, my 6-year-old granddaughter cries for how her grandfather is being treated while here, that's true love for all reasons at hand .
,I was able to wheel myself around this institution but now I'm always in need of others to do so, my stepson has passed due to an overdose, all due to the facts he understood it to be something different than what it was, and just a couple weeks ago my children's grandmother has passed, a very beautiful person,
For the love you share with us many has touched me in my family dearly I will do the same for others as being a Quaker in faith for we believe there's God within us all .
His issue with his hands is coming from lack of treatment over the years for his complaints of nerve damage,pain, coming from an old injury in the army in which a tank hatch cover fell on his head, compressing the cervical vertebrae, effecting the nerves. They didn't listen to his complaints for years assuming he wanted drugs,and further care is only minimal of course. It took a bad fall down some stairs to get their attention. He was given a cane to help with walking but no treatment. Then it progressed into the wheel chair. He has had one procedure to alleviate the issue but it processes yet. If he were free it have been taken care of better, earlier and he'd still be walking. The assaults that have occurred are just the way it is in an institution, especially for a senior in a wheel chair - easy, vulnerable target to show off violence on or take out aggression. He's had COVID, twice,MRSA multiple times, care is minimal, and if he makes any waves, complaining, he just gets treated poorly as punishment for causing extra work on over-extended guards with hardened hearts and poor training.
